On-Site Nurse Position

Position: On-Site Nurse Position at Mohawk College
Join Mohawk College as an On-Site Nurse dedicated to student health services. This temporary part-time role focuses on delivering care at a walk-in health centre while ensuring safety on campus.

As a vital member of the Health & Wellness team, you will report to both the Director and the Nursing Supervisor. In this role, you'll utilize your clinical assessment, patient education, and treatment planning skills to care for students. You will coordinate health promotion, vaccination clinics, and disease management to foster well-being among the student population.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide health care services in a walk-in health centre

• Develop and implement treatment plans for students

• Conduct physical assessments and provide client education

• Administer medications and produce lab requisitions

• Organize immunization clinics as per guidelines

Requirements:

• RPN Diploma or

B.Sc.N. Degree required

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience preferred

• Strong clinical assessment and problem-solving skills

• Registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• Knowledge of MS Office applications
