In this pivotal position, you will provide care for outpatient surgical patients, utilizing your nursing skills within a collaborative team. Candidates must be registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario and hold active BLS and ACLS certifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver quality care in the PACU to surgical patients

• Prepare patients prior to their surgeries as needed

• Facilitate patient discharge from recovery

• Provide support in the Pre-Admission Clinic

• Collaborate with professionals to ensure patient safety

Requirements:

• Registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• BLS and ACLS certification required at time of hire

• Recent experience in PACU and critical care nursing

• Ability to administer IV drugs and monitor arrhythmias

• Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
