The Sexual Health Nurse reports to the Manager of Primary Care, supporting coordinated community care at the Department of Wellbeing. Key responsibilities include providing specialized health services, community education, and contributing to program development. Your expertise will enhance equitable access and evidence-based practices for diverse populations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide specialized sexual health services across communities
• Conduct STI testing, treatment, and education
• Offer contraception and pregnancy options counseling
• Promote gender-affirming care for LGBTQ2S+ individuals
• Collaborate on community health initiatives and programs
Requirements:
• Registered Nurse with Ontario licensure
• Experience in sexual and reproductive health
• Strong community engagement skills
• Knowledge of LGBTQ2S+ health issues
• Commitment to equitable health access
