In this full-time role, you will collaborate with Registered Nurses and an interdisciplinary team to deliver care for a variety of surgical patients, primarily in orthopaedic and urological specialties. The RPN will be accountable for assessing patient needs and maintaining optimal health outcomes. Your experience in acute surgical care will be essential for providing effective treatment plans and interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver nursing care to surgical patients
• Collaborate closely with RNs for optimal patient outcomes
• Assess patient needs and adjust care plans accordingly
• Document medical records and patient progress
• Support patients and families through the recovery process
Requirements:
• Registration with College of Nurses of Ontario
• Diploma in Practical Nursing or equivalent
• Recent experience in acute surgical inpatient care
• BCLS/HCP certification
• Strong communication and organizational skills
