In this position, you'll report directly to the Director of Care and play a vital role in resident assessments and medication administration. Key skills include creating and implementing care plans, monitoring health changes, and training nursing staff. Your expertise will ensure adherence to all nursing standards and enhance the quality of care provided.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver care in line with established nursing practices
• Evaluate and monitor residents’ health and condition changes
• Lead activities related to restorative and palliative care
• Train new staff and supervise nursing activities
• Ensure compliance with College of Nurses and regulatory standards
Requirements:
• Valid certificate from the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Eligible for registration with the RPN Association
• Current First Aid and BLS Certification
• Comprehensive knowledge of healthcare practices
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills
