Registered Nurse Role

Position: Registered Nurse Role at Southbridge Care Homes
Elevate your nursing career with Southbridge Care Homes in Port Dover as a Licensed Registered Nurse. This part time role focuses on resident care, assessments, and adherence to nursing standards.

Reporting to the Director of Care, you will enhance the quality of life for senior residents. Your responsibilities include monitoring health changes, evaluating care plans, and providing guidance to nursing staff. Collaborative work in multidisciplinary settings will ensure continuous improvement in care practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with established nursing standards and protocols

• Monitor residents' conditions and implement physician orders

• Direct and support nursing staff in care delivery

• Assist in RAI MDS preparation and compliance

• Act as charge nurse in the Director's absence

Requirements:

• Current RN certification from the College of Nurses of Ontario

• Eligible for registration with the RN Association of Ontario

• Current First Aid and BLS certification

• Management experience in long-term care preferred

• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
