In this part-time role, you will engage in comprehensive wound management, ostomy care, and client education. You'll work closely with an interdisciplinary team to create individualized care plans that support better health outcomes. This role also emphasizes clinical knowledge development and collaboration with peers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform detailed wound assessments for diverse patients
• Create and implement co-designed care plans with clients
• Support education initiatives for client health decision-making
• Act as a mentor for other healthcare providers
• Collaborate virtually with NSWOC peers across the province
Requirements:
• Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in Ontario
• Completed specialized wound care education program
• Preferred three years of relevant nursing experience
• Skill in clinical assessment and patient education
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
