This role provides the opportunity to improve client care by applying your nursing expertise in wound assessment and management. You will collaborate with a dedicated interdisciplinary team to implement personalized care plans and educate clients and families about health strategies. The position allows for skill development in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and provide comprehensive wound and ostomy care
• Develop individualized care plans with client involvement
• Facilitate client education and support health decisions
• Work with a multidisciplinary team to enhance care delivery
• Mentor other healthcare professionals and students
Requirements:
• Registered Nurse licensed in Ontario
• Completion of advanced wound care specialization required
• At least three years of relevant experience preferred
• Ability to conduct effective clinical assessments
• Strong communication skills to engage diverse clients
