This full-time position requires a dedicated RPN to monitor patient withdrawal, conduct assessments, and deliver psycho-educational sessions. You will play a pivotal role in developing comprehensive discharge planning while offering crisis support and outpatient care under the Ontario College of Nurses standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Administer medications and treatments per CNO standards
• Monitor vital signs and conduct clinical assessments
• Document patient progress in hospital systems
• Respond to medical emergencies swiftly and effectively
• Facilitate therapeutic communication with clients
Requirements:
• Completion of an RPN educational program
• Registration with the Ontario College of Nurses
• One year experience in an addictions setting preferred
• Strong knowledge of harm reduction practices
• CPI certification or willingness to obtain within one year
