Registered Practical Nurse - Emergency Care

Join ACTIVE CARE NURSING UNIT as a Temporary Part-Time Registered Practical Nurse specializing in emergency care. This position focuses on inpatient and emergency services with flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.

You will play a key role in providing comprehensive nursing care for about six months. The ideal candidate will have emergency nursing experience and strong organizational skills to manage concurrent demands. Essential qualifications include current BCLS certification and registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver emergency and inpatient care to patients

• Conduct thorough physical assessments

• Collaborate with healthcare professionals

• Maintain effective communication with patients and families

• Utilize advanced computer skills for documentation

Requirements:

• Must provide vaccination proof including COVID-19

• 2-3 years' experience in medical nursing required

• Current College of Nurses registration necessary

• Prior experience in cardiac care and triage preferred
