As an RPN, you will provide nursing assessments, administer medications, and assist in crisis management for clients undergoing substance use treatment.
Your role is crucial in ensuring a supportive environment while adhering to policies and protocols established by the College of Nurses of Ontario.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct individual assessments and document findings
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to safety protocols
• Manage and dispense client medications accurately
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal care
• Implement therapeutic communication strategies with patients
Requirements:
• Valid RPN registration in Ontario
• Experience in an addictions or mental health setting preferred
• Completion of WHMIS and Occupational Health training
• Knowledge of the Mental Health Act essential
• Commitment to ongoing professional development
