Part Time Registered Nurse

This role, located in Hamilton at the West 5th Campus, focuses on delivering holistic and evidence-based nursing interventions as part of the Schizophrenia and Community Integration Service. Required qualifications include registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario and experience in mental health nursing. You will play a critical role in the patient recovery process while working in a trauma-informed setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and organize therapeutic interventions for patients

• Document and evaluate nursing care efficiently

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for quality care

• Model professional leadership to support team decisions

• Facilitate education for patients and families

Requirements:

• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• One year of mental health nursing experience preferred

• CPR certification and Crisis Prevention Training required

• Knowledge of Mental Health Act and relevant legislation

• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
