Position: Crisis RPN Role Urban Core
Take on a vital role as a Crisis Intervention Nurse (RPN) with Hamilton Urban Core. Focus on providing immediate and supportive nursing care in community settings.

This temporary full-time role for 18 months involves responding to individuals in acute mental health crises and supporting their recovery through coordinated care. As a member of a diverse team, you will utilize trauma-informed practices to promote health, stability, and access to essential services. Your work will significantly impact the lives of marginalized populations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and provide crisis intervention and stabilization

• Administer medications and monitor patient conditions

• Offer harm reduction strategies and education

• Build relationships with clients facing complex challenges

• Engage in continuous quality improvement initiatives

Requirements:

• Diploma in Practical Nursing and RPN registration

• 2-3 years experience in crisis intervention

• Familiarity with community health resources

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
