Part Time Registered Nurse

Position: Part Time Registered Nurse at Extendicare
Provide compassionate care as a Part Time Registered Nurse laborate with a skilled team to deliver exceptional health services to residents in a supportive environment.

Reporting to the Director of Health and Wellness, you will oversee direct resident care, medication administration, and thorough documentation. This role requires strong coordination with other health professionals to ensure residents’ care plans are developed and implemented effectively. Your clinical judgment will help in delegating tasks to Unregulated Care Providers while managing emergency situations when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete and update residents’ care assessments and service plans

• Administer medications safely per regulatory and organizational standards

• Supervise and support Unregulated Care Providers in care delivery

• Manage resident care assignments for the nursing team

• Address resident/family concerns promptly and effectively

Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse registration in the Province

• Experience with seniors in long-term care

• Strong communication and critical thinking skills

• Ability to coordinate and evaluate care plans

• Current Vulnerable Position/Sector Screening (within 6 months)
