Age Care is looking for a Registered Practical Nurse to oversee and implement care protocols. In this role, you will work closely with Registered Nurses and healthcare teams, ensuring that the needs of residents are prioritized. You'll guide a team of Personal Support Workers and participate in important shift reporting processes to maintain high care standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with RNs to implement care procedures
• Liaison with physicians regarding resident health changes
• Support care needs through effective team communication
• Supervise and direct Personal Support Workers on tasks
• Participate in team reports to keep all informed
Requirements:
• Active member with a Certificate of Competence
• Comprehensive knowledge of nursing regulations
• Experience in geriatric or rehabilitation nursing
• Familiarity with long-term care operations
• Dedication to providing quality patient care
