Registered Practical Nurse

Provide exceptional nursing care as a Registered Practical Nurse eph’s Health System in Hamilton. Collaborate with RNs and deliver quality, compassionate healthcare in a supportive environment.

This full-time role in the Emergency Department is ideal for nursing professionals with a passion for patient care. The position requires strong communication skills, knowledge in senior care, and a commitment to ongoing learning. You will be responsible for providing care to less complex clients, ensuring their needs are met effectively and promptly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess client needs and provide nursing care

• Collaborate with Registered Nurses for effective treatment

• Administer IV medication and manage patient records

• Promote health and rehabilitation solutions for clients

• Organize and prioritize care responsibilities based on patient needs

Requirements:

• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• Practical Nursing Diploma or equivalent certification

• BCLS/HCP certification required

• Minimum 2 years clinical nursing experience preferred

• Excellent communication and organizational skills
