Position: Registered Nurse with Extendicare Health Services

As part of the health and wellness team, you will be responsible for direct resident care, medication management, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and engage in care conferences while facilitating a supportive environment for both residents and families. Your clinical acumen will be crucial in supervising care providers and addressing changes in resident conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive care assessments and documentation

• Administer and safeguard medications per Extendicare policies

• Lead and supervise nursing team care assignments

• Address emergency situations and coordinate responses

• Facilitate resident/family education to enhance involvement

Requirements:

• Valid Registered Nurse license within the Province

• Experience in geriatric care preferred

• Excellent time management and delegation abilities

• Strong written and oral communication skills

• Current Vulnerable Position/Sector Screening required
