Become a Part Time Registered Nurse with Extendicare, dedicated to enriching the lives of residents. Utilize your nursing skills in a team-oriented environment focused on health and wellness.
In this role, you will report directly to the Director of Health and Wellness, managing resident care operations, including assessments and medication administration. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements while providing education and support to residents and their families. Your strong leadership qualities will facilitate a collaborative atmosphere among healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure residents’ care plans are accurately updated
• Administer medications safely and in compliance
• Supervise Unregulated Care Providers in care tasks
• Coordinate nursing staff assignments for efficient care
• Address and resolve resident concerns effectively
Requirements:
• Must hold a current Registered Nurse registration
• Experience with senior care and rehabilitation
• Strong care coordination and communication skills
• Proficiency in time management and critical thinking
• Current Vulnerable Position/Sector Screening necessary
