As an RPN at Age Care, you'll collaborate with Registered Nurses and healthcare teams to implement care policies and procedures effectively. You'll play a crucial role in monitoring resident health status, participating in shift reports, and ensuring high standards of care. Your knowledge in long-term care nursing and relevant regulations will enhance residents' quality of life, making a real difference in our community.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide nursing care aligned with medical and professional standards
• Liaise with physicians and external healthcare partners
• Guide Personal Support Workers on resident care
• Participate in team reports regarding resident status
• Contribute to the revision of care procedures
Requirements:
• Current Certificate of Competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Strong background in geriatric or rehabilitation nursing
• Knowledge of health care regulations and acts
• Commitment to maintaining a safe health care environment
• Member in good standing with the College of Nurses
