Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years of experience in psychiatric nursing and demonstrate strong communication skills. You'll collaborate effectively with an interprofessional team to enhance client goals and treatment methods.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct psychiatric assessments and risk evaluations
• Develop and implement nursing interventions for client recovery
• Collaborate with team members on best practice guidelines
• Facilitate therapeutic groups and community resource linkages
• Maintain documentation according to established standards
Requirements:
• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Minimum 2 years psychiatric nursing experience
• CPR certification required
• Knowledge of major mental disorders and treatment options
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle needed
