Part Time Registered Nurse Manager

Coordinate resident-focused care as a part-time Registered Nurse Manager in Hamilton, Ontario, using clinical leadership and comprehensive nursing skills.
Reporting to the Director of Care, this Registered Nurse oversees care delivery and promotes the Home’s values, goals, and philosophy. The position includes supervising PSWs and RPNs, completing assessments, administering treatments, and responding to changing resident needs. On-site work supports meaningful resident interactions throughout each shift.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and modify individualized resident care plans
Supervise, assign, and evaluate PSW and RPN work
Process physician orders and administer medications and treatments
Complete rounds, assessments, records, and required reports
Address resident and family concerns according to Home policies
Requirements:
Current Ontario Registered Nurse registration or equivalent Canadian authorization
Basic CPR certification
Long-term care experience is an asset
RAI-MDS knowledge or AIS certification within one year
Clear screening, recent TB results, and three supervisory references
