Support addiction and mental health recovery as a Registered Nurse in Parkdale, Chesterton, Indiana, providing screenings and medication management.
Parkdale Center seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for full-time professional care. You will serve clients with addiction, mental health, and co-occurring disorders under consulting psychiatric nurse practitioner and medical director supervision. The position includes evaluation, treatment planning, and discharge planning.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide physical assessments and addiction screenings
- Complete medication assessments and evaluations for patients
- Develop treatment plans from assessment data
- Provide therapeutic interventions, consultation, and health education
- Document services, progress notes, and medication consultations in the EMR
- Current Registered Nurse license in the practicing jurisdiction
- Associate or bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing program
- Knowledge of addiction, substance use, mental health, and co-occurring disorders
- Knowledge of physical disease etiology and treatment
- Case Management experience required
