Support senior residents as a Registered Practical Nurse at Extendicare Hamilton in Ontario, using compassionate care and clinical leadership across all shifts.
This part-time Registered Practical Nurse position offers 30 hours at Extendicare’s Hamilton Home. You will provide resident care according to practice standards while guiding personal care staff. The position includes developing, implementing, reviewing, and evaluating resident care plans. You will also help orient and train new team members while communicating effectively in English.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and evaluate resident care plans
- Provide care according to practice standards
- Plan and supervise personal care staff work
- Evaluate personal care staff performance
- Assist with orienting and training new team members
- Current registration with the provincial College of Nurses
- Compassionate, professional, and respectful approach
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Availability for part-time work across all shifts
- Ability to work 30 hours part-time
