Registered Nurses with acute medicine experience can support Medicine
- Chatham in Chatham-Kent, Ontario. This temporary regular part-time posting runs from January 9 to March 1, 2027.
This Registered Nurse vacancy is open to employees of the ONA bargaining unit. The department is Medicine
- Chatham, and one temporary position is available. Preferred qualifications include BScN, Palliative Care Levels I and II, gerontological education, and RNAO membership.
- Provide nursing care within the Medicine
- Chatham department - Initiate intravenous lines through certified venipuncture practice
- Care for central venous access devices
- Administer intravenous narcotics below the drip chamber
- Apply Basic Life Support certification in practice
- Current Ontario certificate of competence as an RN
- Current acute medicine experience
- Certification in intravenous access and narcotic administration
- Current Basic Life Support certification
- Satisfactory attendance; preferred BScN and palliative care training
Use acute medicine nursing, intravenous therapy, and Basic Life Support qualifications as a Registered Nurse in Chatham-Kent.
