Emergency Department Registered Nurse

Deliver evidence-informed emergency care as a Registered Nurse eph’s Healthcare Hamilton’s Charlton Campus in part-time rotating shifts.

This Registered Nurse provides patient-centred care for complex, high-acuity patients with less predictable outcomes. The position requires emergency nursing experience, clinical judgment, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams. Care includes adult, child, and psychiatric presentations within a busy emergency department serving Hamilton and surrounding communities.

• Provide comprehensive patient-centred emergency nursing care
• Assess needs and support therapeutic treatment
• Collaborate with inter-professional teams
• Lead care for complex and high-acuity patients
• Work under authorized Medical Directives when required

• Current College of Nurses of Ontario registration
• Current BCLS/HCP certification
• Recent related emergency nursing experience required
• Adult, child, and psychiatric care management experience
• Strong communication, prioritization, and critical-thinking skills
