The Position

We are currently looking for a Lawn Care Technician to join our growing team! • Safely operating a company truck and driving to client properties based on the provided schedule
• Applying fertilizer, insecticide, herbicide, fungicide to client properties, using hoses or truck mounted tanks
• Identifying unhealthy lawns, analyze, diagnose and recommend specific treatment
• Aerating, dethatching, slit-seeding and rolling lawns
• Educating clients, co-workers and crews and sell treatments
• Informing management when to stock and order materials to maintain proper chemical inventory
• Posting notification of any spray application
• Maintaining spray records
• Inputting time spent at client properties and notes about the work completed in LMN

• High school diploma, post-secondary education in Horticulture preferred
• Valid Driver’s License and Clean Driver’s Abstract
• Licensed pesticide applicator (Extermination License) preferred, but willing to train the right individual who is willing to learn
• 5 years’ work experience in landscaping with strong knowledge in plant health and encounters with many diseases and insects
• Capable of working independently and managing a schedule effectively and efficiently
• Detail oriented and strong diagnostic skills in order to correctly analyze, diagnose and synthesis treatments and evaluate
• Safety conscious
