Harris as a Quality Control Specialist in Waterdown, Ontario, where your expertise will ensure high-quality standards in production. You will focus on inspections, data reporting, and customer liaising.
As a Quality Control Specialist, you will analyze performance data and collaborate with Production and Engineering to address product quality issues. This role requires excellent communication skills to represent customer interests and provide clear reporting on inspection outcomes. You will work within established quality management systems to drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Compile and assess quality performance metrics
• Conduct thorough inspections for quality assurance
• Communicate data findings in team meetings
• Support corrective action requests and audits
• Create relevant documentation for quality processes
Requirements:
• At least 3 years of relevant technical experience
• College Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical with QA training
• Familiarity with AS9100 standards is essential
• Experience with statistical analysis and Microsoft Office
• CQE or CQT certification is an advantage
