Position: Quality Assurance Manager at Walters Group

As part of the Walters Group, you will report directly to the Director of Quality Assurance. Your key responsibilities will include maintaining the Walters Quality System, auditing it regularly, and planning quality control for steel projects. Your expertise in quality management will help resolve issues and ensure project specifications are met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain the Walters Quality System and conduct audits

• Plan quality control of steel for specific requirements

• Liaise with departments to ensure service consistency

• Manage NCRs, root cause analysis, and develop corrective actions

• Create robotic welding applications for innovative solutions

Requirements:

• University degree in Engineering or related field

• P. Eng designation or ability to obtain within 2 years

• 2-3 years of leadership experience in a team

• Minimum 10 years in the Structural Steel Industry

• Proficiency in ISO:9001 and quality system management
