We are currently recruiting someone for the role of Quality Manufacturing Engineering to oversee our quality metrics and internal auditing programs. Responsible for ensuring product and process non-conformances are addressed through structured CAPA methodologies, this role requires a candidate with strong GD&T proficiency and experience in a standards-based manufacturing setting.

Certification as a CQE or experience with pressure vessel codes (ASME/CSA B51) is highly regarded.

Base salary:$65,000 - $95,000 / year

Typical Duties Include (but are not limited to):

• Develop,implement, and maintain quality assurance processes toensure compliance with regulatory and customer requirements
• Perform rootcause analysis and lead corrective/preventive actions for product or process non-conformances
• Support manufacturing operations through process capability studies, control plans, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Conduct internal and supplier audits to verify adherence to customer-specific quality standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Maintain andupdate quality documentation and inspection criteria
• Analyze quality metrics and provide regular reports and recommendations to management
• Participate in external audits from customers and regulatory agencies

Key Skill Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of quality systems and root cause analysis methodologies
• Experience interpreting engineering drawings, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
• Proficiency inusing MS Excel, MS Word, and other quality tools and software such as ERP
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to influence across departments
• Detail-oriented and self-motivated with a continuous improvement mindset
• Flexibility towork on tasks in parallel and adapt when priorities change
• Ability todevelop written procedures and instructions in collaboration with manufacturing and QA requirements

Key Experience/

Education:

• Bachelor’sdegree in Manufacturing, Quality, or related Engineering field
• 2-5 years ofhands-on experience in a manufacturing quality engineering role
• Experience working in a regulated or standards-based environment.
  
  Typical standards are ISO 9001, CSA N299, CSA B51 andCSA N285
• Experience with ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code considered anasset
• CQE (Certified Quality Engineer) or related certification considered anasset
• Audit experience / training considered an asset
