Position: Quality Assurance Team Lead Role
Become a key player in food safety as the Quality Assurance Team Lead at Maple Leaf Foods. Oversee QA teams to ensure compliance with food safety regulations and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Your responsibilities include supervising quality assurance leaders and administering food safety programs at the Heritage facility. You'll engage with cross-functional teams during audits and assist in employee training. By applying your expertise, you'll help maintain and enhance food safety standards across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor QA Process Leaders on the team

• Administer training on food safety and equipment use

• Develop and implement corrective action plans

• Audit compliance and report non-conformities

• Assist with environmental monitoring and analysis

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in a relevant field is an asset

• 3+ years of supervisory experience in food quality

• Expertise in basic food chemistry and sanitary design

• Proven ability to manage teams and foster collaboration

• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
