Lead food safety and quality assurance at Maple Leaf Foods’ Heritage facility through HACCP verification, sanitation audits, and product sampling.
The FSQA Process Leader ensures compliance within an assigned production area, including Formulation/Stuffing, Slicing/Packaging, or Palletizing. This role supports daily quality decisions, verifies operator inspections, and advances QA systems. It suits candidates with food industry quality assurance experience.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform daily food safety and quality decisions
- Verify line inspections and critical quality parameters
- Conduct EMP/TPC swabs and pre-operational inspections
- Monitor HACCP tasks and issue corrective actions
- Manage product holds, samples, and quarantines
- Bachelor of Science, food safety diploma, or equivalent experience
- Two to three years’ food industry quality assurance experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of sanitation, SOPs, HACCP, CCPs, and GMPs
- Previous FSEP maintenance or validation experience
- Strong organization, communication, and attention-to-detail skills
