Manufacturing quality coordination at AVL Manufacturing requires inspection expertise and strong documentation skills across industrial fabrication projects. The position is based within AVL’s manufacturing operations.
As an experienced Quality Coordinator, you will perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections. You will verify purchase orders, customer specifications, product requirements, and industrial guidelines. The work includes calibration maintenance, non-conformance processes, quality records, and communication with departments about quality issues.
Key Responsibilities:- Inspect incoming, in-process, and final manufacturing work
- Audit suppliers and subcontractors for quality compliance
- Inspect fabrication welds using CWB process knowledge
- Maintain calibrations and non-conformance processes
- Support ISO quality system improvement activities
- Three to four years in ISO manufacturing environments
- Mechanical or Industrial Technology diploma preferred
- Experience with ISO 9001 and CSA welding requirements
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and prepare reports
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and work within close tolerances
