AECOM is seeking Archaeology Field Technicians (Levels 1 to
4) to join their dynamic team. These unionized roles offer opportunities for fieldwork under a knowledgeable supervisor, with responsibilities including artifact identification and documentation. Ideal candidates should be prepared for extensive travel, diverse weather conditions, and take on leadership duties during projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct archaeological fieldwork and documentation
• Identify and recover artifacts from various cultural backgrounds
• Follow health and safety protocols effectively
• Take on a junior leadership role during field operations
• Assist in training new team members
Requirements:
• High school diploma required; previous experience for Level II+
• Ability to lift 40 lbs and perform strenuous tasks
• Effective communication with Field Supervisor
• Reliable transportation to work locations
• Respect for Indigenous cultures and heritage
