Advance food formulations onsite in Hamilton through applied research, sensory science, analytical testing, and evidence-based product optimization.
This Research Scientist, Product Development position applies scientific and technical knowledge to dairy product development. Lead assigned projects while supporting Principal Scientist-led research, innovation, technology evaluation, and platform development. Use experimental design, data analysis, and product characterization to guide technical decisions.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop formulations using dairy science and ingredient functionality
- Apply analytical methods and equipment to research
- Design and interpret sensory evaluations
- Evaluate ingredients and technologies for feasibility
- Document formulations, specifications, reports, and trials
- Degree in food science, dairy science, or related field
- Minimum three years’ product development or applied research experience
- Strong food and dairy science foundation
- Skills in experimental design, analysis, and technical writing
- Ability to use relevant formulation and reporting systems
