Overview

David’s Bridal is seeking a Customer Service Representative (CSR) to deliver a consistent Five‑Star Customer Service Experience. The CSR reports to the Store Manager and works closely with Operations personnel to support the welcome desk, cash wrap, systems, inventory management, and daily routines.

Essential Job Functions
  • Welcome all customers with genuine, friendly enthusiasm over the phone, virtual chats, and in person; communicate clearly and concisely while adapting your style to meet customers’ needs.
  • Use all system tools to manage customer flow and deliver a Five‑Star Customer Service experience.
  • Maintain all service vows, including being prepared, welcoming, meeting needs, and being present for every customer, while completing operational checks and addressing emotional and practical needs.
  • Provide an exceptional service experience to multiple customers simultaneously and contribute to the store’s achievement of Five‑Star Customer Service.
  • Proactively address customer concerns with confidence, escalating and partnering with leadership when necessary.
  • Communicate how alterations can improve dress fit for events in partnership with Alterations, promoting all alteration and personalization options.
  • Maintain store standards to support a flawless shopping experience.
  • Maintain a high standard of dress in line with the Dress Code policy.
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries, providing product and service information.
  • Build and maintain long‑term relationships to exceed customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Engage in inventory management procedures—processing orders, receiving, and ensuring first‑quality standards for all merchandise.
  • Support all cash wrap behaviors and process transactions accurately to make every customer feel celebrated.
  • Assist with sales promotions and visual updates.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Physical Demands

The employee must stand, walk, sit, reach, climb stairs, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as required. The employee should occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. Vision and hearing requirements include close and distant vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and proficiency using computers, electronic devices, and phones for extended periods.

Education & Credentials
  • High school diploma or equivalent; 1–2 years prior retail experience in an apparel, service, or specialty store environment.
