Goodness Me! is hiring a full‑time Cashier – Keyholder for our Hamilton – Upper Gage location.

This is a hybrid role; you will perform cashier shifts and Keyholder/MOD shifts. As a cashier, you will be the first and last contact for customers entering and exiting the store. Your role is to be friendly, helpful and efficient, ensuring that each customer has a positive and memorable experience.

• Greet customers when entering or leaving the store
• Manage transactions with customers using our POS system
• Scan goods and ensure pricing is accurate
• Handle merchandise returns and exchanges
• Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas, following all COVID‑19 protocols

As a Keyholder/MOD, your role is to ensure that store operations run smoothly in the absence of a store manager or assistant manager. Additional duties may include but are not limited to:

• Resolve customer complaints
• Complete Manager on Duty checklist
• Check and log temperature checks
• Ensure cleaning logs are followed
• Cash employees off at the end of their shift
• Support employees with questions or problems that arise
• Make end‑of‑day deposits
• Complete end‑of‑night closing lists
• Responsible for locking up and setting alarm
• Other duties as assigned

• While not required, experience is an asset

$18.10 /hour
