Pet Valu is seeking an enthusiastic Sales Associate who is passionate about pets and customer service. In this role, you'll engage with Pet Parents, helping them find the right products for their furry friends. You will enjoy flexible scheduling, staff discounts, and opportunities for retail training while being part of a caring team that supports local shelters and initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate the cash register and process customer sales
• Prepare merchandise orders and complete required paperwork
• Place small items into stock on the sales floor
• Maintain store cleanliness through dusting and sweeping
• Assist in unloading delivery vehicles and stocking heavier items
Requirements:
• Previous retail or customer service experience
• Preferred experience in pet retail services
• Strong knowledge of POS systems
• Friendly personality with excellent customer service skills
• Availability on weekends with reliable transportation
