Position: (CAN) Produce Team Lead
Position Summary
Assists in the leadership of Fresh areas and department processes, responds to problems and inquiries, and develops associates through teaching and training. Ensures a high level of customer service while completing tasks. Plans and executes department activities based on workload and operational functions and assists on the sales floor as required.
What you’ll do
Providing excellent Customer Service by greeting all customers in a polite and friendly manner, assisting customers by promoting products/services, locating merchandise, and helping with purchase decisions, resolving customer issues and referring concerns where appropriate.Assists in providing direction and coordinating task completion as per communicated priorities from the Fresh Coach and the Store Management Team. Delegates, assists, and follows up on completion of daily Customer Availability process tasks.Assesses the overall presentation of Fresh Departments and appearance, noting deficiencies for corrective action and executes merchandising display changes where required.Ensures strong communication with associates, leads the daily Team Huddle at the start of each shift, and provides the team with updates, sets goals, and tracks productivity.Reviews completed schedules with the People Lead, assigns associates to support coverage and availability tasks in all store areas.Tours assigned areas with the Coach and team associates to validate and identify training opportunities. Develops associates through teaching and training and provides feedback as needed.Contributes to a safe, clean, and hazard‑free work environment through adherence to company policy and procedures, including completion of safety sweep logs and ensuring displays and fixtures are secure and free of debris.Completes GTA/Workday tasks and supports management.Partners with Coach/People Lead to facilitate performance management and growth conversations for associates, and supports recruiting and hiring new associates.The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $21.85.
