Position Summary:

The Retail Shift Supervisor reports directly to the Retail Site Manager and is responsible for maintaining store operations performing daily functions/tasks and provide exemplary customer service in order to achieve sales budgets and maximize profit.

• Minimum grade 12 education
• 1-3 years’ experience in retail sales and customer service
• Excellent sales point of sale and cash balancing skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and take initiative
• Proven display and merchandising skills
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Team oriented

• Provide exemplary customer service
• Provide accurate and efficient service at cash and comply with procedures for daily balancing of the Point of Sale System
• Restocking in order to drive sale ensure prices are correct and signage is appropriate and in good condition
• Participate in planning and executing of store set-up assists with preparation and count of the yearend inventory
• Supervise and guide volunteers assign tasks and distribute their daily work
• All other duties as assigned
