Commercial Account Executive

Job Overview

Union Power Insurance Brokers and First Ontario Insurance Brokers are seeking a focused, entrepreneurial Commercial Insurance Producer / Commercial Account Executive to expand our commercial client base within union and construction sectors.

• Develop and execute a proactive, independent sales strategy to generate new commercial business.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with union organizations, contractors, and business owners.
• Identify client needs and design tailored insurance solutions across various commercial lines (property, liability, construction, etc.).
• Collaborate with internal service teams to ensure seamless onboarding and ongoing client support.
• Maintain a robust pipeline and consistently meet or exceed sales targets.
• Represent the brokerage at networking events, industry functions, and union engagements.

• Active insurance license.
• Proven experience in commercial insurance sales or a strong background in B2B sales.
• Strong understanding of commercial insurance products (property, liability, construction, etc.).
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills.
• Self‑motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset.
• Experience working with unions or construction‑related industries is a strong asset.
• All‑star candidates will also have: Experience using Policy Works;
  Bilingualism (French/English).
