Healthcare Security Guard Position

Become a vital part of Hamilton Urban Core Community Health Centre as a Security Guard. This on-site, temporary role emphasizes safety in a healthcare setting, ensuring a secure and welcoming atmosphere.

The Security Guard will play a pivotal role in supporting safety at Hamilton Urban Core Community Health Centre. Candidates should have at least two years of relevant experience, ideally in healthcare or related fields. Responsibilities encompass monitoring various areas, conducting inspections, and addressing security issues using non-violent conflict resolutions and trauma-informed techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deter unauthorized access through patrols

• Monitor surveillance systems and access points

• Conduct emergency safety inspections

• Support resident sign-in and wellness checks

• Collaborate with emergency responders, as needed

Requirements:

• Two years of security experience, preferably in healthcare

• Valid Use of Force Certification mandatory

• CPR and First Aid certifications needed

• Commitment to anti-oppression and equity principles

• Strong communication and observational skills

Provide critical security support and ensure a safe environment for all within Hamilton Urban Core Community Health Centre.
