Part-Time Security Guard Position

Become a vital part of HAMILTON URBAN CORE COMMUNITY HEALTH CENTRE as a part-time Security Guard, ensuring the safety of all clients and staff. This temporary role focuses on effective monitoring and timely incident responses.

As a Security Guard, your mission is to uphold a secure and welcoming environment at the Health Centre. You'll conduct patrols, monitor access points, and implement safety protocols while working alongside interdisciplinary teams. Your training in de-escalation and conflict resolution will be key in managing challenging situations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct security patrols inside and outside the facility

• Monitor surveillance systems for real-time security alerts

• Perform safety checks and enforce facility access protocols

• Document incidents and collaborate with emergency responders

• Manage resident sign-in/out in line with guidelines

Requirements:

• 2+ years of relevant security experience

• Valid Use of Force and First Aid certifications

• Ability to handle crises professionally

• Strong communication and observational abilities

• Must be flexible for varied shift scheduling
