Serve the Hamilton community as a Security Guard at Hamilton Urban Core Community Health Centre on a temporary, full-time basis. This position emphasizes security, health protocols, and crisis response techniques.

In the role of Security Guard, you will ensure a safe environment by monitoring facility grounds and engaging in proactive safety measures. You'll be responsible for conducting inspections, supporting residents' safety, and responding to emergencies, with a focus on applying non-violent conflict resolution. This position works closely with a diverse team committed to upholding organizational values.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patrol for theft deterrence and maintain visibility

• Execute regular security checks of facilities

• Enforce visitor access policies and safety guidelines

• Document incidents and complete daily logs accurately

• Support emergency drills and safety briefings

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of security-related experience

• Valid Use of Force and First Aid certifications

• Effective communication and observational skills

• Background in crisis intervention and conflict resolution

• Must be flexible for various shifts, including holidays
