Ready to suit up as a Surveillance Security Guard
What matters most about a role like this is your sharp eye, capturing every detail as you scan a series of screens. Your strong observation skills with attention to detail are your greatest strengths.
As a Surveillance Security Guard, you will be the person spotting threats before they elevate in environments such as security operation centres, call centres, construction sites, parking lots and gatehouses.
Schedule 1 – Monday to Friday 07:00-15:00
Schedule 2 – Monday to Friday 15:00-22:30
Location – L7R 3Z6

- Provide exceptional customer service by welcoming visitors, verifying identification, answering inquiries, and directing guests appropriately.
- Manage access control and monitor entry and exit points.
- Conduct regular interior, exterior, and parking lot patrols to identify and address potential safety and security risks.
- Monitor CCTV systems and operate alarm panels.
- Respond immediately to elevated voices, alarms, disturbances, and emergency situations.
- De‑escalate conflicts professionally while maintaining a safe, secure, and respectful environment.
- Inspect security equipment and report maintenance or operational issues.
- Perform basic computer and administrative tasks related to security operations.
- Respond to incidents, provide first aid when required, and coordinate with emergency services.
- Prepare accurate incident reports and communicate security concerns to supervisors and management.
- Maintain a visible security presence to ensure the safety of employees, visitors, and property.
- Be authorized to work in Canada
- Hold a valid security license
- First A.I.D. certification required
- Strong report writing skills
- Good eyesight and excellent ability to maintain focus
- Strong proficiency with technology
- Ability to stand and walk throughout shift
