Position: Full-Time Firefighter for Community Safety
Serve and protect the City of Hamilton as a Full-Time Probationary Firefighter. This roles involves emergency responses, fire suppression skills, and community outreach programs focused on safety.

The Hamilton Fire Department is actively recruiting Full-Time Probationary Firefighters to enhance their emergency response team. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to perform under pressure, follow health and safety procedures, and embody the community's values of engagement and service. Responsibilities extend to fire ground operations, public relations, and safety inspections.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute fire suppression and rescue techniques

• Respond to medical emergencies and fire alarms

• Participate in community fire prevention education

• Maintain and inspect firefighting equipment

• Collaborate with team members through training initiatives

Requirements:

• High School diploma or approved equivalent

• Valid Class DZ Ontario Driver’s License

• Current certification in Standard First Aid with CPR Level C

• Strong communication skills in English

• Ability to handle physically demanding tasks
