Support roofing work across the Greater Toronto Area and Ontario using hand tools, power tools, and waterproof materials. This full-time position pays $43.45 per hour plus benefits.
Always Roofing Ltd. seeks a Roofer Assistant with three to five years of experience. Assist with single-ply, modified, built-up, metal, shingle, shake, tile, and concrete waterproofing work. The position covers commercial, industrial, and residential settings across varied locations.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist with single-ply roofing system installation and repairs
- Help install built-up roofing using asphalt and gravel
- Assist with metal roofs using hand and power tools
- Detect leaks and apply waterproof coatings
- Clean equipment and set up scaffolding
- Three to five years of roofing experience
- Ability to handle heavy loads and repetitive tasks
- Comfort working at heights, outdoors, and under pressure
- Hand-eye coordination with bending, crouching, and kneeling
- Availability for required overtime work
