Apply fire alarm troubleshooting expertise at Suncor Base Plant as a Certified Fire Alarm Technician on a 14/14 rotation with accommodations provided.
Convergint is recruiting a Certified Fire Alarm Technician to support moderately complex new and installed fire alarm systems. You will test, repair, inspect, program, commission, and maintain equipment while responding to service calls. The role requires customer focus, technical judgment, and clear communication.
Key Responsibilities:- Test, repair, and service fire alarm systems and equipment
- Troubleshoot malfunctioning equipment or software and resolve service problems
- Perform inspections, maintenance, installation, startup, programming, and commissioning
- Complete calibration, commissioning reports, and detailed service reports
- Participate in the after-hours on-call program
- Completed, current CFAA Fire Certification
- Required EST-3/3X and/or EST-4 certifications
- At least two years of industrial fire protection experience
- At least two years of installation, startup, and commissioning experience
- Valid and clean driving license
