Make a difference in recovery with Hamilton Urban Core Community Health Centre as a Life Redesign Coach. Focused on trauma-informed coaching, this role supports individuals navigating their path to wellness and community reintegration.

Working onsite in Hamilton, ON, this temporary full-time position aims to empower participants facing substance use and mental health challenges. You'll utilize your coaching skills to develop individualized plans, foster personal accountability, and enhance skills for long-term recovery and stability. Applicants should bring experience in coaching and a strong commitment to health equity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate personalized recovery goals and life redesign plans.

• Monitor and adjust participant progress collaboratively.

• Support participants in securing stable housing options.

• Advocate for individuals facing barriers to housing and care.

• Engage in community connections and resource referrals.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in psychology, social work, or similar.

• Experience in community support roles.

• Knowledge of trauma-informed care principles.

• Strong interpersonal and motivational skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
