This role focuses on supporting homeless youth ages 16-21 at Notre Dame House through programs designed for personal growth and community integration. Your responsibilities will include crisis intervention, case management, and developing essential life skills in a safe space. By adhering to Good Shepherd’s Health and Safety policies, you'll help ensure a secure atmosphere for both clients and staff. Your work will strengthen community ties while fostering personal empowerment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide crisis support and intervention as needed
• Facilitate life skills training and personal development
• Conduct assessments and advocate for youth
• Organize recreational and social activities
• Ensure compliance with Health and Safety guidelines
Requirements:
• Degree in social services or relevant field
• Experience with youth in a residential treatment setting
• Valid CPR certification or intent to obtain
• Strong commitment to anti-racist values
• Fluency in an additional language is beneficial
