Role OverviewCity Kidz seeks dedicated and passionate individuals to join our team as Cast Volunteers and provide theatrical entertainment to kids attending Saturday sessions. As a Cast Volunteer, you will assist Stage Hosts to facilitate inspiration and big dreams in the lives of children who attend our programs.

- Assist with the organization of show materials both before and during a show

- Work closely with fellow cast members and Tech Team members to ensure smooth show execution
- Students, retirees, caregivers, or anyone who enjoys interacting with kids and youths
- Anyone who loves improvisational and theatrical presentation and performance

- Experience with public speaking or theatrical arts (preferred)
- Experience working with children (preferred)
- Ability to contribute to a program that combines theatrical and children’s ministry components
- Ability to be attentive and responsive to show leadership and show dynamics
- Ability to facilitate show engagement and interaction with the audience
- Ability to work well in a team setting and collaborate with fellow cast members, show leadership, and Tech Team members for smooth show execution
- Effective communication skills to engage with kids and other volunteers

- Able to meet the physical demands associated with the theatre production (e.g., standing for extended periods, moving equipment, participating in physical staging)

- Minimum two (2) seasons, equivalent to eight (8) months, for at least 1x a month, preferably biweekly;
Saturdays through March‑June and September‑December - Shifts:
Tuesdays 7:00 pm‑9:00 pm for rehearsal, and Saturdays 8:00 am‑3:30 pm for performance
- Onstage requires ability to go up and down steps; the edge of the stage may be a safety hazard if not visible
- The show involves 75 minutes of physical activity and stamina
- Minimum 16 years old
- Willing to undergo a background or police records check
